Custom Made Welding Caps

~ QuiltingB's welding caps are make of 100% pre-shrunk cotton. The fabric has been washed & dried one time to prevent excessive shrinkage.

~ My caps are reversible, with a print fabric on the outside and are lined with a matching solid color cotton fabric. Extra effort is made to match thread color to fabric color. Seams are also expertly matched, see Page 2 for close-up pictures of the quality of stitching.

~ The bills of my caps are lined with 'needled' quilt batting - a QuiltingB welding cap innovation - it is stiffer than regular quilt batting. Needled quilt batting does not disolve like regular batting or cardboard does, and does not wear thru or bleed thru the cotton fabric like denim would.

~ Cap bills come standard at 3". If you would prefer a 2 or 1 1/2" bill, please note so in the 'Additional Comments' section of the Shopping Cart.

~ Caps are 4 panel and come in either High Crown at 7 1/2" high, or Low Crown at 6 1/2" high, a selection option is available with each cap added to the shopping cart.

~ I have been sewing for over 30 years and my caps are of the highest quality in workmanship. I have been in business online for over 7 years.

~ You have numerous fabrics to choose from. Click Here for Currently available FABRICS. If you have a special fabric request, please feel free to email me at support@blueroseweb.com and I will do my best to locate your particular requested fabric. I also take special orders where the customer sends me a favorite fabric and I use that fabric to make the caps. Email me if you have a special fabric that you want your caps made out of.

Caps are $9.49 each, plus postage. Caps are mailed First Class postage with Delivery Confirmation.

Shipping Charges are: (U.S. orders only)
1 - 4 Caps = $2.75
5 - 6 caps = $4.55 (includes insurance)
7 - 9 caps = $6.00 (includes insurance)
10 - 24 caps = $7.95 (Priority Mail & includes insurance)
Jumbo orders of over 2 dozen caps have a flat $15.00 Priority Mail shipping charge

Shipping charges for Canadian orders only:
1 - 4 caps = $5.00 (with No insurance)
5 or more caps = $20.00 (I have had to raise my Canadian shipping because the Postal Service continues to mess with International shipping rates and methods. 5 or more caps will be mailed Priority so that they can be insurred. Insurance is not offered for regular First Class international parcels.)

When you buy a complete welding cap pattern from us, you will get a CD that contains a .pdf file which contains detailed instructions along with many colored pictures of how to assemble a cap, step by step.

Ordering Information:

1. Please note that caps do NOT contain any elastic, as such, the FINISHED size will be the maximum stretch size. Caps are made out of prewashed, 100% cotton fabric. (Although the fabric has been washed and dried one time, being cotton, it will continue to shrink a wee bit with each wash/dry. This is why I sew each cap exactly 1/4" larger than size, because it will shrink some more. A cap a wee bit larger is better than a cap a wee bit too small!)
2. To measure/fit for size, use a flexible measuring tape and measure around the largest part of your head - above the eyebrows, above the ears or over the ears - and around the back. Wrap measuring tape right where you expect your new cap to fit. If measurements are between sizes, order the next size up.
3. Standard industry measurement charts do differ slightly, so please verify your measurement against the size chart on the left of this page.
4. Please measure carefully.
5. Payment can be made by Paypal or money order.
6. I guarantee my work. If you are not satisfied with the cap(s) when you receive them - if they are not the size or fabric or height that you ordered - email me of the problem, then I may allow you to return the caps - as long as they are in new, unworn condition. You pay return postage. Please order carefully because since these are custom made caps - meaning that I cut and sew them after you order them, I can not be responsible for an order if you order incorrectly.
