Below are some questions that potential clients generally have about our services. If you have a question that isn't answered below, please feel free to ask us so that we can better serve you.
How long will my website take to build?
What will my investment be?
Are there any "hidden" fees?
What is the payment procedure?
Will I get to see what my website looks like before it's finished?
What if I don't like the design?

1. How long will my web site take to build?
The entire development process for most sites is around four weeks. However, if your site is especially large or requires complex programming, it may take longer to build. Additionally, if you need your site to be completed more rapidly arrangements to do so can be made (at a higher fee). In all cases, we'll let you know how long expected development time will be when you request a price quote.

2. What will my investment be?
Unfortunately, because all web sites and client needs are different, it's impossible to say exactly how much your site will cost to develop in such a broad context. The best way to find out is to request a quote from us. We'll get you an exact price within 48 hours. (Note that we offer discounts and possibly free design for non-profit organizations. Simply make a note of it when requesting a price quote.)
But, to give you a very rough, basic idea of our rates, to design and build out a simple "brochure" site with 8-12 pages of content, little or no e-commerce, and a few simple contact forms such as the ones on this site, we would charge appoximately $500 - $1,000 (USD).
However, you should know that we're very flexible in terms of working within your budget; you can have a new design by Blue Rose Web Design Studio for your site for as little as $450! Ask us how!

3. Are there any "hidden" fees?
Nope! Once we give you a quote, that price will be your only costs throughout the process unless the scope of the project is changed significantly.
However, please note that this does not mean that we'll make changes to the project during development for free; appropriate fees will be charged where applicable, but not without warning.

4. What is the payment procedure?
We require a 50% deposit up-front and 50% on completion and approval of the design work. However, if the site is particularly large or will take a relatively long period of time to develop, we may break the payments into smaller parts.

5. Will I get to see what my website looks like before it's finished?
Certainly! Once we've created a basic design for your site, we'll post it to a private directory on our site accessible only by you. You'll be able to see what the design looks like, and make any comments and suggestions to get it looking exactly like you want it.

6. What if I don't like the design?
If you aren't pleased with the design (which happens very rarely), we'll get some feedback from you about what aspects of the design you aren't happy with. We'll fix those aspects, or, if necessary, create an entirely new design for your site. If, at this point, you still aren't happy with the work we've done, we'll refund your money.*

7. Will I own the finished product?
Quite simply, yes. You'll own all rights to the design, graphics, code, and any other work we do for you. We even send you a CD-R with all the files we used in development so you can make the changes you need! All we ask is the right to post a screenshot and description of your site in our portfolio.
